In order to defend your PhD, you have to follow some trainings to acquire credits (cf table below).
Some trainings are mandatory :
- 1st year of PhD : Bibliographic research/manage documentary resources (mandatory, 1 day) – Available in Albi
- 2nd year of PhD :
- Publish in scentific journals (or equivalent) (mandatory, 1 day) – To do in Toulouse
- Ethics (mandatory, 1 day) – Albi (in french) / Toulouse (french or english)
- Advised for 3rd year of PhD : follow one training on the theme : preparing postgraduate thesis.
LANGUAGE COURSES
French as a Foreign Language
These courses are intended for students whose first language is not French.
These trainings, called FLE (“Français Langue Etrangère” = French as a foreign language) can be followed in Albi.
Other Foreign Languages
English courses can also be followed in Albi.
TOEIC TESTS
TOEIC test is an english certification. Sessions are held several times a year. Students are informed of these directly by email from MEGEP doctoral representant : Laurie DESPAX (ICA) or Thomas DELEAU (RAPSODEE).

Carreful, for PhD students giving classes, it’s mandatory to follow ar least one teaching training. English formation can be found on ADUM training courses list.
